Attitude of Gratitude 12/30

“Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, and His praise in the congregation of the godly ones.” Psalm 149:1

Listening to praise music this evening while waiting for the rest of the worship team to show up for practice, I thought about where the songs come from.  Some of them from Scripture, some from the author’s experiences.  They are such blessings.to me.  So many different emotions, so many different expressions of love for and from God.  So many of them are prayers and meet the need of my heart at any given moment.

So I am thankful for the words of others that I can use to express the deepest thoughts and feelings of my heart.  I’m thankful for the gifts God has given those writers in expressing their deepest woes and joys.
